Establishing a Foreign Enterprise

Foreign enterprises also referred as wholly foreign-owned enterprises (WOFE), are enterprises established in China by foreign companies, and other economic organisations or individuals, in accordance with Chinese laws, with all investments solely provided by the foreign investors.
According to the business regulations, the establishment of foreign enterprises in China must meet at least one of the following two requirements:
The business project involves advanced technology and equipment
Alll or most of the generated products will be export-oriented.
The corporate form of foreign enterprises in China is generally the limited liability Company. Along with the recent introduction in China of the system of Joint stock partnership.
Although China was late in allowing the establishing of foreign enterprises, the establishment of wholly foreign-owned enterprises in the country has been developing steadily over the recent years.
